After School Workshops
Splat workshops are for children ages 6 to 11. Each term we focus on a couple of key themes, artists and styles. We look at other cultures and different periods of art history. We work in both 2D and 3D and the children take home varied and interesting pieces of work.
Our
workshops are held in a relaxed, safe and secure environment. Children are
encouraged to bounce ideas around and problem-solve within the group. This
all helps to build their self-esteem and ability to interact positively with
others. Within the framework of the workshop we encourage
personal expression and aim to stretch the children's
abilities and imaginations.
New For September 2008: Creative Textiles and Sewing
From puppet making to pin cushions, designing pillow cases to bags, collages to tie dyeing, personalising clothes, recycling and much more.
